Clogged Pores? You Need Toner

I get asked this question all the time.  What is toner?  It’s one of the more mysterious skincare products out there, but it shouldn’t be.  The answer is simple.  If you have clogged pores, you should be using a toner.  Whether you have oily skin, acne, or your makeup is giving you breakouts Kaiya Natural’s All-Natural Toners are your secret weapon for beautiful blemish-free skin.

Oily Skin

T-zoneMost of us don’t have just oily skin.  Most of us have combination skin.  The infamous t-zone where your forehead, nose, and chin have that shiny glow from too much much oil production while your cheeks are dry.  Toner reduces the amount of oil on your skin and also constricts your pores.  You should use toner on your t-zone after cleansing your face with a mild cleanser and apply moisturizer to dryer areas like your cheeks.  Which type of toner you use depends on what type of skin you have outside of your t-zone (see below).

Acne-Prone Skin

everything-you-need-to-know-about-acneSome of us have it worse than just an oily t-zone.  Some of us have acne-prone skin where our pores become clogged with excess oil and dead skin cells, and then become infected with Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes).  The right toner can not only help to reduce excess oil and clear away dead skin cells and excess dirt,  but contains antiseptic ingredients that help to fight P. acnes.  You should be using Seedalina Toner on acne-prone areas after cleansing your face with a gentle cleanser, like Seedalina Face & Body Wash which is only available at a Kaiya Naturals Event.   Both the Seedalina Face & Body Wash, and the Seedalina Toner are designed for problem skin, like acne-prone skin.  You should also think twice before using a moisturizer which can worsen acne.

Makeup

Washing Off MakeupNo matter how good it looks, you’ll have to wash it off sooner or later, and it’s hard to get that last bit of makeup off your face.  Not only is it hard to wash off,  makeup residue can clog your pores making you breakout.  Toner can help you get that last bit of dirt, grime, and makeup that just won’t seen to come off.  You should use it after cleansing your face with a mild cleanser and apply moisturizer right away.  Which type of toner you use depends on what type of skin you have (see below).
